Endangered Instrument Scholars

The Sutton Music Service are offering a limited number of scholarships for those looking to learn an instrument (trombone, French horn, tuba, euphonium, oboe, bassoon, double bass and viola). A young person can apply if the following criteria are met:

  • attend a state-funded school in the London Borough of Sutton
  • are in Key Stage 2 or 3
  • are not currently learning an endangered instrument.

Musical Success

We are delighted to report that Ryan Court (photo, below), who has just taken up his place to study Music at Cambridge, passed his diplomas (dipABRSM) in both oboe and singing. He took both examinations while still attending Wilson's and learned the results just a few weeks ago. Our congratulations go to Ryan.
