You have until half term to send in your entries to the challenge.

The two prompts are "Writing about the absurd" and "Writing inspired by myths". You can see Mrs Fletcher if you would like some more inspiration, or ask your English teacher. We had a great inspiration meeting at lunchtime last week, but if you couldn't attend, Mrs Fletcher can give you the resource.

Please send all entries to Mrs Fletcher ( and Abbas (ZAIDIA@Wilsonsschool.sutton.sch. uk) by Friday 15 October. We would prefer electronic copies if possible, either on a Google Document, or pasted into the body of the email.

We will select Key Stage Winners after half term and publish the students' writing in an anthology. Anyone and everyone who enjoys writing creatively should take part! We have already had some excellent entries.
