Our hard-working PFA ran an exciting and hotly-contested Family Badminton Tournament this weekend, enabling students and parents to battle it out on the badminton court and raise money for the school—all at the same time! Riyez Siyed of the PFA took on the role of running the event, for which we are all very grateful.

There were some minor injuries (as expected!) which our newly qualified First Aider (Pui Tam) was able to take care of. The players all enjoyed the event and wanted to know when the next event was, which is always a good sign. Our youngest player was a Year Three boy! 142 players participated and generated £1456 in revenue.

This is Riyez's second Fundraising event. We are all very grateful for his efforts, organisational skills and kind friends—most of whom agreed to help over two days as umpires, despite being non-Wilsonians.
