Team Reports

Wilson’s 1st XI elected to bat first on a slow green wicket. Some indifferent shots saw Wilson’s plummet to 75 for 8 off 20 overs. In reply KCS chased our total down in 10 overs and won by 10 wickets.

KSC 2nd XI batted first and scored 139 from 20 overs. The Wilson’s bowlers did not put any real pressure on the KCs batsmen in the last 5 overs which helped KCS reach 139. In reply, after losing a couple of early wickets Adi and Diyath put on a good partnership to leave 20 off the last 18 balls. Unfortunately, Wilson’s fell short and lost by 1 run. Diyath top scored with 42.

Wilson’s U12A won the toss and batted first and scored 144 for 5 off 20 overs. Standout batsmen were Luca (38 off 31 balls) and Nilin (24 off 27 balls). In reply, Wilson’s bowled exceptionally well which saw Lingfield all out for 46 runs. The highlights of the bowling came from Tanush taking 2 wickets and Sai taking 3 wickets in one over.

Wilson’s U14A put Lingfield into bat. Disciplined bowling from Umair (2 for 10), Rohan (3 for 15) helped restrict Lingfield to 88 off their 20 overs. Despite the pitch not suiting the batsmen saw Wilson’s win by 5 wickets.

A convincing win against City of London Freeman’s from the 1st XI. Wilson’s batted first and scored 140 for 5 off 20 overs. Ansh (31 from 21 balls) and Ahrujan (80 from 59 balls, photo below) were the star batsmen. In reply City of London reached 85 for 8 off their 20 overs. Zain (3 for 2) and Udith (3 for 24) were the pick of the bowlers.
