YEAR 7 EVENT
Posted on: | Category:

On 19th January, almost seventy Year Seven students anxiously gathered to perform their feverishly-rehearsed monologue to friends and relatives in the JJ Hall at the annual Year Seven Drama Soirée.

The students under the spotlight had been selected as the best in their class, having scored 8/10 or better in their Drama lessons, thus making it through to the evening event.

The students were given free rein over what to say with themes ranging from Neville Chamberlain, Lord of the Rings, and If by Rudyard Kipling. One speech even referenced our very own Mr. Lissimore.

Some students chose to add character to their speech by dressing up in an appropriate costume, which certainly provoked smiles from the audience!

Do enjoy this selection of pictures taken by Tai in Year 12.

The Year Seven students will hear the results of this House Competition in due course.
