Player Of The Week

Player Of The Week is Aron (Year Seven) who scored four goals for the U12As, one of them a free kick from twenty five yards. Jan (Year Seven) and Abish (Year Seven) were influential for the U12Ds; their selfless running helped their team to a good win.

The hard-working Neo (Year Seven) drove the U12Bs on in their game against Sutton to earn Man of the Match! In the same game Madoc, Bilal and Artur (all Year Seven) grabbed a goal each.

Atharv (Year Ten) played in a new position at right back for the U15As and put in his best performance of the season. He was impossible to beat defensively and also scored a great goal.

Team Of The Week

Our final team of the week for 2023 is the super U12Bs (banner photo, top); this week they registered their first win for the school. A balanced display of great attacking football and resolute defending earned them a 3-1 win over Sutton Grammar.

There was heartbreak for our 1st XI and U13As who went out of the National Cup in the last 32 stage; two superb performances where it just wasn’t their day. Both squads can be extremely proud of their efforts in their long cup runs. It was a fantastic Friday for our Year Sevens with four wins against Sutton Grammar for our U12A-Ds. There was some great football on show and all the games were played in excellent spirit.
