Player Of The Week

Player of the week is Nishil (Year Seven) who made three super saves to get the U12Bs their first clean sheet of the season.

Matt (Year Thirteen) and Ben (Year Thirteen), two 1st XI stalwarts, were excellent this week leaving everything out on the field in the 1st XI’s two games. The goalscoring 1st XI duo of Max (Year Thirteen) and Asa (Year Twelve) made it 21 and 30 goals respectively for the season. One of the best performances of the week came for Adam (Year Seven) who scored two goals for the U12Cs. The U12As were 1-0 down early in their game but two classy finishers from Olivier (Year Seven) and Jesse (Year Seven) got them the win.

Team Of The Week

Despite the cold week we were able to get some football on! This week it was all about the U12s, who made the long trip to Farnborough Saturday and returned with three wins. The As (photo above) won a very competitive game against a good Salesians’ team 2-1 and the Bs kept up their good form with a 3-0 victory. Team of the week are the U12Cs (photo below) for playing some great football, showing excellent teamwork and attitude in their fine win.

The 1st XI made it three wins out of four in seven days with a superb victory over St Charles’ Catholic School in the London Cup. Despite a good performance full of heart two days later they just couldn’t make it a perfect week, going down 3-2 away to last year’s finalists, Gordon’s School, in the Surrey Cup.
