Player Of The Week

It was a great Tuesday afternoon of football with five Year Eight games against Brentwood and some super performances. Aaditya (Year Eight) scored a hat-trick for the Ds and Siddharth (Year Eight) was player of the match for the Cs. Pavamaan (Year Eleven) was tenacious as ever on his debut for the 3rd XI at left back; and in the same game Jonathan (Year Eleven) put the team first to play in goals. Nilin (Year Eight) was the hero for the U13B’s as he scored two goals in their win over local friends Sutton.

Player of the week is Harry (Year Thirteen), whose wand of a right foot made another three goals, taking his total assists for the season to twenty for the 1st XI.

Team Of The Week

It was a wonderful week of football with thirty-one games against seven different schools: this busy week meant twenty-four Wilson’s teams got to play with almost three hundred pupils pulling on the yellow jersey.

The U12As continued their superb form, with convincing wins against Hampton and Sutton. It was a successful Wednesday with all five senior teams winning against Wimbledon College, Trinity, and Emmanuel School. The 7th XI made it two wins in a week, with a determined 2-1 away win over Sutton.

Team of the week are the U13As, who produced a resilient display in beating an excellent Brentwood side 2-1. Joel (Year Eight) grabbed both goals, but it was the whole team’s work ethic and togetherness that really shone through.
