Football Update #17

Player of the Week

Nilin (Year 10), Vidur (Year 10) and Srivathson (Year 10) scored three great goals for the U15B’s in their fine win on Monday. The experienced duo of Josh (Year 13) and Zeph (Year 13) shone for the 1st XI in their cup win. Zeph was his usual inspirational self while Josh scored a remarkable five goals. A special moment of the season came when James (Year 13) scored on his 1st XI debut with a super finish. The U12A’s hero was Enikesh (Year 7) who came on and scored two goals to win their game versus Raven’s Wood.

Player of the Week is the consistently excellent U13A left back Will (Year 8) who not only scored from 25 yards, but continues to get better and better each week!

Team of the Week

The U15B’s put in impressive team performances against Salesian College and Wimbledon College. Under new coach Mr Butcher, they played some scintillating attacking football scoring seven goals and winning both games. The 1st XI became our fist team into a cup final as they roared into the Sutton Cup final with a convincing win over Greenshaw. The U12A’s were involved in a superb school football game away versus Raven’s Wood. Their improvement during the season was evident as they won 3-2 after losing the reverse fixture 6-3 earlier on in the season. Another team improving all the time are the U13A’s who continued their superb season with a 5-0 win.

Team of the Week is the 4th XI who won away at Godalming with some fantastic goals!
