Football Update #19

Player of the Week

Despite losing the game Aayush (Year 9) was inspirational for the U14As on Saturday with a wholehearted display. Aarav R (Year 8) scored and got himself an assist for the U13D’s in a superb individual display versus Wimbledon College. The midfield dynamic duo of Edward (Year 8) and Arnav (Year 8) drove the U13A’s forward at every opportunity against Epsom.

Samo (Year 11) stepped in late for the U16A’s to play in goals and did himself proud with a composed display earning him Player of the Week!

Team of the Week

The Year 8s produced a fantastic week of individual and team displays. In an even contest, the U13Cs showed resilience to beat Wimbledon College 4-2 on a sunny Tuesday afternoon at Mollison Drive. On Saturday, the U13Ds went on a goalscoring frenzy netting ten goals.

The U13Bs won away at Epsom with another clean sheet, meaning they now have not conceded a goal in five games. A remarkable effort which earns them the Team of the Week accolade!
