Football Update #4

Player of the Week
In Year 11, Philip struck his first goal for the 1st XI in a good display from centre midfield against Gordon’s and then made it two in two versus Hampton. Jacob (Year 12) was a rock in the middle of the park for the 1st XI as they put in a fantastic display against one of the strongest teams in the county away at Hampton. Goal machine Niven (Year 7) made it twelve goals in three games with another five for the U12A’s versus Sutton.
Player of the Week is Aryk (Year 7) who covered every blade of grass at Northey Avenue and finished the game with two fine goals for the U12B’s.
Team of the Week
The 3rd XI battled and gave everything to gain a good draw against a experienced Godalming team. The U14C’s played up a year and rose to the challenge beating Hampton 2-0.
Team of the Week are the U12B’s who won their first game together beating Sutton 4-1; they have shown a fantastic attitude all season and reaped their reward Friday.
