Great British Economics Olympiad
In the school’s second year of entry, 10 Wilsonians have qualified for the second round of the prestigious Great British Economics Olympiad to be held on the week commencing 23 February.
In the second round, students will be tested on their understanding of financial literacy in an attempt to reach the national final which will be held at the end of March.
Designed to challenge and inspire, the Great British Economics Olympiad is a unique opportunity for students to push themselves further and excel in the Economics field. Budding economists will develop critical problem-solving skills, learn to think more creatively and get a chance to test their knowledge in new, real-world situations. They could even find themselves representing the UK at the prestigious International Economics Olympiad to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan in July!
We wish all participants the best possible luck in their attempts to reach the national final!
