LEGO Club continues to assemble

Every fortnight, students come to LEGO Club brimming with creativity and enthusiasm, and as a result we have seen a range of impressive builds from fierce fighter jets to more imaginative ideas such as a 'duckmobile'.

Recently, we launched our building competition where groups of younger students challenge the sixth form to see who can craft the best build in just half an hour. Last week, we tasked our members to base their creation off the theme of transport, and they definitely exceeded expectations!

We saw a variety of ideas including racing cars, helicopters, boats, and fighter jets. We are delighted to announce Arjun in 8C as our unanimous winner who built a futuristic aircraft, meaning that the score is:

  • Years 7-11 (1)
  • Sixth form (0)

In the future, we hope to broaden our activities to include a speed-building competition where students race to see who can build a LEGO set the fastest.

Once again, we would like to thank everyone for the donations as our members wouldn’t have been able to express their creativity without them, and we would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
