Badminton at Wilson’s has got off to a great start for this academic year! With eager new recruits and skilled veterans, we are very proud of the teams assembled for all age groups. We hope to build on the great success of last season, when the U14 A team beat the U14 B team in the final of the London and the South East championship. What an achievement for two teams from the same school to battle each other in the final!

We have started playing in the National School Sports Magazine Championships, with the U16As winning their first round against Epsom College. The U14As have received a bye to the next round, with the U16Bs and the U14Bs due to play Wallington Boys and Whitgift respectively in the next few weeks.

After an initial friendly against Whitgift this week starting with a win, we look forward to plenty of more friendly fixtures after half term: details of results and match reports will soon follow.
