Team Reports

U15A – Wilson’s won the toss and elected to bat in the Nat West Cup against Rutlish School. A wicket with inconsistent bounce saw Wilson’s lose a couple of early wickets. A captain’s inning for Rayyan (50) helped Wilson’s reach 131 for 9 off 20 overs. In reply, Rutlish had no answer to Pratham’s pace bowling and were bowled out for 18, with Pratham taking amazing figures of (6 for 0 off 3.4 overs) all bowled.

U12B – A strong performance by Wilson’s U12B’s scoring 137 for 3 off 20 overs. Carshalton were bowled out for 66 in 17.2 overs, giving Wilson’s the victory of 71 runs.

U15A – Wilson’s won the toss and elected to field in the next round of the Nat West Cup. With a limited attack Hampton finished on 146 off 20 overs. Indifferent fielding cost at least 40 runs in the field. In reply, Wilson’s got off to a slow start with Parth and Ayan scoring 26 off the first 10 overs. With the departure of Ayan and still needing 120 to win, Ved took up the challenge and what an amazing innings he produced. Supported by Rayyan, they kept up with the run rate. With 5 overs to go Wilson’s still needed 70. Two overs to go 19 to win, in the last over Wilson’s needed 14, with Ved facing needing 3 to win off the last ball. He hit a massive 6 to give Wilson’s victory by 7 wickets. Ved ended on 88 off 39 balls including six 6’s and seven 4’s.
