Player of the Week

Adhrit (Year 10) was the penalty-saving hero for the U15A’s in the Surrey Cup, saving three penalties and having the courage to score one himself. Antony (Year 10) in the same game was a constant attacking threat and scored a fantastic goal. The U13B’s got their season off to a flying start with commanding performances from Vedanth (Year 8) and Alexander (Year 8) at centre back.

Player of the Week is Conor for the 4th XI, who not only scored but produced a display which Mr Cody described as a joy to watch.

Team of the Week

This Friday we had six Year 7 teams playing with over 70 pupils, and the highlight was a fearless display from the U12F’s. They consisted of the Year 7 Brecon form, giving as many pupils as possible the chance to represent the school, and their form camaraderie was evident in winning 3-2. The U13B’s have had a quiet start to the term, but their first game ended in a good 4-1 win versus ACS. The goals came from Emaad, Kuhan and Sachin (all Year 8).

Team of the Week are the U15B’s, who battled to a fine 2-1 home win against Ardingly. Led by their inspirational coach Mr Straw, the team put in their best display of the season and won the game thanks to two goals from Jeremy (Year 10).
