Player of the week is Kiaan (Year Seven) who was in the right place at the right time and was clinical with four superb finishes for the U12A team against Carshalton.

Team of the Week

Team of the week is the U12A team with two excellent performances. In their first ever cup game they showed typical Wilson’s resilience to beat Ravens Wood 4-2 on penalties. They followed that by showing their quality by beating local friends Carshalton 6-0 with some outstanding goals.

U12A Team of the Week

The 1st XI has had a superb start to the season and this week was no different with two fantastic wins against strong football schools. On Wednesday they had a convincing win against Alleyn’s 2-0 - an impressive clean sheet from the back five of Matt (Year Thirteen), Harry (Year Thirteen), Zeph (Year Eleven), Adhrit (Year Eleven) and Bradley (Year Thirteen). Three days later, they produced one of the finest displays from a Wilson’s team, beating one of the strongest school teams, Bede’s, away 4-3: a thrilling game of school football at its best. The 5th XI also got the season up and running with a fine 5-3 win away to Alleyn’s and a hardworking 3-2 win against Bede’s. Well done to captain Zac (Year Eleven) and the squad. Two Year Thirteen students who have excelled this week are Max and Bradley for the 1st XI. Max finished with four goals and five assists in three games but it’s his selfless running for the team which stood out. Bradley has been very impressive in a new position at right back, breaking up the play and launching attacks. Jashan (Year Eleven) had one of his best games for the school, scoring an impressive four goals and grabbing one assist for the 5th XI.
