The Wilson’s rugby season drew to a close this week, culminating in one final match for the Year 10s against Oaks Park High School. From start to finish, Wilson’s were dominant, showing a combination of fitness and skill levels to score several tries in the first half. The second half saw the visitors show good physicality in attempt to mount a comeback; however the result was never in doubt, with Wilson’s winning 45-10.

The result meant this team finished the 15-a-side season undefeated, an excellent effort and achievement by all the players who contributed.

The squad will move into the IXV set-up next season, with lots of potential to strengthen that group.

Finally, the end of season prize-giving saw the following students win these awards. Congratulations and well done to all pupils who represented the school this season.
