To commemorate the late Air Chief Marshal Sir John Thomson GCB CBE, the Royal Air Squadron presented the CCF (RAF) with a sword to be awarded annually to the most outstanding RAF cadet in the UK. The winner of this honour then goes on to represent the RAFAC at high profile events.
On Sunday, 15 cadets from Wilson’s RAF Section travelled to RAF Wittering for the National Finals of The Royal Air Squadron Trophy Competition, having qualified in fine style in the London and South East Regional round of the competition last term.
