Wilson's School

Spotlight on... prefects!

Following the first full term with this year's prefect team in action, it is high time to highlight some of the great work that the prefects have done to help around the school.

Zane and Harry (Foyer Duty)

Zane and Harry truly beam positivity and happiness and they greet the students on Friday mornings; even when it is rainy and dark, this duo is always there to brighten anyone’s mood.

Oscar (Intrigue Magazines)

Passionate about your subject? Write for the Intrigue! With so many students writing articles to delve deeper into their subjects and share their passions with others, Oscar’s job in organising and helping to edit and run the Intrigue magazines has been exceptional. We are grateful for the time he has put in, not only in helping organise and running the magazine, but also in producing almost professional-looking publications. From the design to the formatting, he has definitely helped step up the quality of our school magazines.

Saran, Sanjiv, Dylan, Idhant, Pranavan, Dev (House Captains)

The Year 7s have made it through their first full term at Wilson’s! In a new and potentially intimidating environment, the house prefects have been beneficial in comforting and guiding them through the school, providing a friendly face they can always talk to if talking to a teacher seems a bit too daunting. However, this isn’t the full story – the house captains have also been crucial in setting up the multitude of house events, installing some healthy competitiveness between pupils in each house.
