Table Tennis Update

The table tennis season continues to gather momentum, with both our KS3 and KS4 teams enjoying strong league campaigns. The KS3 team currently boast an impressive record of six wins, one draw and one loss, while the KS4 team are close behind with five wins, one draw and one loss. With only a few fixtures remaining for both sides, there is plenty still to play for as the season reaches an exciting conclusion.

Away from the league, the KS4 team recently competed in the Individual National Championships, where performances across the board were excellent. Three out of four players progressed from the group stages, facing high-quality opposition throughout the day.

A special mention goes to Arjun A (Year 9), who produced a remarkable run to reach the quarterfinals, competing against opponents up to two years older than himself. As a result of this achievement, Arjun has secured a place at the National Finals in Wolverhampton — a fantastic accomplishment. Congratulations, Arjun!

Looking ahead, our KS3 players will compete in their individual championships this week, and we wish them the very best of luck as they take on the challenge.
