First XI win Sutton Cup

Player of the Week

Rishi (Year 7) delivered an outstanding performance for the U12A’s, scoring four excellent goals and leading the team’s attack with confidence and energy.

Arjun (Year 8) stole the spotlight with a sensational performance, netting four goals in a dominant display for the U13B side.

Myles (Year 13) also ended the season in style, bagging a well-earned double and showing great composure in front of goal.

It was pleasing to see rare goals from Nana (Year 12) and Rishi (Year 12), both getting on the scoresheet to round off an impressive team effort from the U17As.

Player of the Week is Wilson’s football stalwart Zeph (Year 13), who finished his Wilson’s football career lifting the Sutton Cup. He produced his usual commanding display in the final and ends as one of the most decorated footballers in the school’s history.

Team of the Week

We finish the season with three teams in the Sutton Cup finals as the U15As produced a strong performance to beat Sutton 6-2 in the semi-final.

It was a fitting way to end the season, with eight wins from nine games on the final Saturday, including impressive wins for the U13Bs and U14Bs.

The 1st XI sealed a brilliant 3–1 victory over Carshalton in the Sutton Cup Final earning them Team of the Week! Goals from Tom (Year 13) and Jon (Year 13), plus a stunning volley from Nana O (Year 12) to cap it off. A fantastic team performance from start to finish means they end the season with silverware.

Special mention to Year 13 pupils Adhrit, Zeph, Tito, Emilio, Tom, Josh and Jon who each played their final game for the 1st XI. A fairy-tale ending for one of the hardest working teams we’ve seen at Wilson’s - they’ve just got better every week!
