Pupils at Wilson’s can participate in a remarkably wide range of clubs, societies and other activities beyond the classroom.

Some require considerable commitment and offer pupils rich opportunities for progression and participation in exciting events — particularly in areas such as sport, music, drama and CCF. Others provide a more informal setting in which pupils can explore a new interest, develop their skills and make new friends.

It is one of our core aims that every pupil should have opportunities for achievement and enjoyment beyond the classroom, and the school continues to make a significant investment in this important aspect of school life.

This year Wilson’s celebrates its 411th birthday on 29 September 2026, providing an opportunity to reflect on our proud and long-standing traditions of academic achievement, personal development and service to others. Whether through rigorous academic study or participation in the many co-curricular opportunities available to them, Wilson’s pupils are encouraged to aim high, support one another and embody the school’s motto, Non Sibi Sed Omnibus (Not For Oneself But For All) at all times.
