Match Report
Score: Glyn 4 - 3 Wilson's
- Date: Saturday 12th September 2026
- Venue: Away
- Competition: Friendly
"We visited Glyn School Playing Fields on Saturday morning, some of us arriving at school first then boarding the minibus, the others travelling direct.
After warming up for around half an hour, we kicked off at 9:30am. Despite it being our second time ever playing with each other, we played well as a team.
Unfortunately, we conceded first but we quickly replied with an equalizer before half-time. During half time, we made a few substitutions. Once half-time ended, we confidently played until Glynn had scored. All the momentum was on the opposition’s side; they scored another goal, then another taking the score to 1-4. Being resilient and collaborative, we worked together and snatched a goal.
In the blink of an eye, we had scored another which took the score to 3-4. Now all the momentum had flipped onto our side. With time against us, we sadly couldn't get another goal. The match had ended in a loss, 3-4. Although we suffered defeat, we were impressed by how well we played together as a team."
