Player of the Week

Dave (Year 13) has been a revelation so far in his first season for the 1st XI. On Wednesday, he was a constant threat and capped a fine display with a thunderous half volley. Midfield maestro Myles (Year 12) scored a hattrick for the 4th XI in their 6-2 win against Alleyn’s. Leo (Year 7) and Max (Year 7) put the team first, playing as goalkeepers for the U12A’s, and were both outstanding to gain the team its first clean sheet. Player of the week is 1st XI and school captain Bruno. Another faultless two displays with two goals and two assists. That takes his tally to five goals and seven assists in his first six games.

Team Of The Week

The 4th XI got their season up and running with their first win at home to Alleyn’s. It was a confident performance with some excellent team goals. The U12A’s and U12B’s had superb victories over the always strong Hampton. Two Year 10 teams in the U15B’s (pictured) and U15C’s made the long trip to the seaside in Eastbourne and came back with two fine wins. Team of the week is the 1st XI for two fantastic displays and wins against two of the strongest football programs in Alleyn’s and Bede’s.
