Hands-on biology in Dissection Club

This lunchtime club brings together pupils from Years 9 to 11, with our Year 13 Biology students helping to lead practical sessions and share their enthusiasm for the subject. The first session got off to an exciting start with a heart dissection, giving students the opportunity to explore the structure and function of the heart first-hand.

There is plenty more to look forward to this term, with upcoming dissections including kidneys, eyes, locusts and chicken wings.

A big thank you to our Year 13 Biologists for helping to lead the sessions and to everyone who came along for such an enthusiastic start. We are looking forward to seeing the club continue to grow throughout the term.
