ROUND 1

Fourteen Wilson's students took part in Round 1 of the British Physics Olympiad. This competition was sat by 2300 of the brightest Physicists in the country. All 14 Wilsonians achieved at least a Bronze 1 (details below), putting them in the top 50% of the very strong selection of students to sit the paper.

BRITISH PHYSICS OLYMPIAD

The entire cohort of L6 Physicists sat the Senior Challenge paper and did amazingly well!

  • Three boys came in the top 100 in the country, including Siobann who came 18th.
  • Every single boy achieved at least a Bronze, which is really impressive.
  • 27 students achieved Gold, 40 Silver and 18 Bronze.
