UNIVERSITY PREPARATION PROGRAMME

Aaron and William (Year 12) recently spent a day in London experiencing architecture and gathering source material for their architectural design brief.

They began the morning looking at the concept design of this year’s pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery, followed by a talk on the interior and exterior design of the Victoria and Albert Museum. The day culminated at the Power of the Plan exhibition at RIBA, where discussions and initial ideas were recorded for the students own design ideas for a pop-up restaurant using shipping containers. A very productive and inspirational day in a very hot London.
