On Friday 12 November Wilson's School hosted the South London Regional Qualification stage of the National Schools' Chess Championships. Wilson's A team had already qualified and so did not play. The event was won by Wilson's B who won all three matches, they were followed by Wilson's C, Wilson's D, Sutton A, Tiffin B and Tiffin C, who all qualified by winning two of their three matches. Wilson's E, F and G all won one of their three matches but did not qualify.

Leading scores for Wilson's were: Rahul (10G) 3/3 on board 1 for Wilson's B. Josh (8S), Ian (12C), Idhant (9G), David (13B), Shourya (8D) and Bharath (7H) also won all their games. Balahari (7G), Vedant (9G) and Aryaman (12C) were undefeated. Over 50 Wilson's School pupils represented the school at this event.
