Player Of The Week

Two experienced 1st XI players stepped up this week. Tom (Yr 13) and Ellis (Yr 13) both produced good mature performances to lead the 1st XI in their very successful week. Pelumi (Yr 12) made his debut for the 2nd XI against Ardingly and didn't disappoint with a hardworking, committed "Man of the Match" display. Player of the week is Emmanuel (Yr 13) who had a week to remember blasting a hat trick on Wednesday for the 2nd XI and then stepped up to the 1st XI on Saturday with another goal and assist.

Team Of The Week

The 2nd XI got their season going with their first win beating Royal Russell away 3-1, they built on that with another battling display Saturday against Ardingly. The U15As and 3rd XI continued their good starts to the season with impressive away wins versus Ardingly. Team of the week are the 1st XI; they beat St George's 4-1 on Wednesday, but it was on Saturday they shone beating Ardingly 5-1 away. Ardingly are always one of the strongest Independent School sides in the country but a relentless, high-energy display by all of the squad meant the 1st XI recorded one of their most impressive results away from home.
