Player Of The Week

Player of the week is Antony (Year Eight, photo below) who scored four goals in two games for the U13As. First, he helped himself to a hat-trick against Harrodian and then scored the decisive goal in their big national cup game against Stationer’s Crown.

Arun (Year Eight) was clinical in front of goal grabbing a hattrick for the U13Bs in their win over Harrodian. Bruno (Year Twelve) was everywhere for the 1st XI, covering every inch of the 1st XI pitch and in the same game Noel (Year Twelve) was a cornerstone at right back for the 1st XI’s performance. The U14B midfield trio of Vedanth, Zuhayr and Anish (all Year Nine) worked together as one unit to control their game against Royal Russell.

Team Of The Week

The U13Ds got their season up and running with their first win in a convincing display away to Harrodian’s. The 1st XI put in another impressive shift, beating the highly regarded Royal Russell 3-1, centre forwards Max (Year Thirteen) and Asa (Year Twelve) with the goals.

Another team to register their first victory was the U14Bs: goals from Vedanth, Zyaan and Jatin (all Year Nine) secured an exciting 3-2 win versus Harrodian. Two days later they made it two wins in two games with their best team performance of the season to make them team of the week (photo below).
