Wilson's first team convincingly won the regional final of Team Chess Challenge with an impressive 15/16. This included a 4-0 victory over Sutton Grammar and 3.5–0.5 wins over Eltham College and Tiffin School. The team has therefore qualified for the national finals, where players will defend the title they won last year.
