Wilson's School

Wilson’s Talk!

Our Wilson’s ‘Talk!’ series continues to inspire students and alumni, offering them insights into a variety of professions.

Previous talks have been delivered by alumni and members of our school community that have followed different, interesting career paths including financial services, water conservation, management, law, and AI.

If you are interested in taking part in the Wilson’s ‘Talk’ series, please reach out to Will Straw.

Are you an Old Wilsonian that is willing to speak about your current job and career pathway in an assembly setting?

This year - to develop the school’s careers curriculum - we are looking to give Wilson's students more regular exposure to individuals from as broad a range of careers as possible, extending the scope of our existing 'Wilson's Talk!' series.

20-minute assemblies will take the form of a visiting speaker talking about their career pathway; how they got into their work, the realities of their job, and the education pathway that led them there. Students will then be given a chance to ask any questions they might have.

Alumni that are keen to register an interest in speaking to Wilson's students should complete the following Microsoft Form - thanks in advance for your support, Old Wilsonians: https://forms.office.com/e/eGnmbZeryk

'Directing live TV & the benefits of a non-linear career path' - Ben Wickham (OW 1997)
