Year 11 celebrate outstanding GCSE results

Congratulations to our Year 11 pupils, who are celebrating a record-breaking set of GCSE results.

An extraordinary 66% of GCSEs at Wilson’s were awarded Grade 9, the highest grade available in the GCSE system. The performance of our pupils places the school among the very highest-achieving schools in the country.

Of the 1,965 GCSE qualifications awarded, 1,305 received a Grade 9, while 96.2% of all grades were at Grades 9–7.

These exceptional results are a tremendous achievement. Congratulations once again to all of our pupils and staff for the hard work, commitment and dedication that made them possible.
