Year 12 celebrate SCS Awards

This week we celebrated the diverse and impressive achievements towards the Sport, Creativity and Service (SCS) Programme. This programme is undertaken by every Y12 student who are given an early lunchtime finish on Wednesday to dedicate time (either directly then or in lieu) to their free choice of activities in the themes of Sport, Creativity or Service throughout the year. This programme facilitates a wide range of life experiences from helping at a club, playing sport for the school, ironing a shirt, or even just helping at home with the cooking.

We feel that this extracurricular work is not just essential to a young person’s personal character development but also instils the values of supporting the community to be as rich and vibrant as possible.

A huge well done to those receiving the awards and the efforts of all Year 12 this year!
