Wilson's School

The 1615 Club

Inspired by the year Wilson’s School was founded, The 1615 Club is a professional network for Old Wilsonians who wish to remain meaningfully connected to one another and the school.

The Club brings together alumni who have gone on to successful careers, and recognise that the long‑term strength of the school is closely linked to the strength of its alumni network.

The Aim of The 1615 Club

As stated, The 1615 Club has been created to formalise a mutually reinforcing relationship between Old Wilsonians and Wilson’s School:

  • For members, it provides access to a respected, curated alumni network with regular opportunities to reconnect, strengthen professional relationships, and engage with peers who share a common educational foundation and values.
  • For the school, it establishes a sustainable and predictable source of support, enabling long‑term investment in the co‑curricular opportunities that define a Wilson’s education.

In short, The 1615 Club gives structure to existing alumni goodwill – transforming informal connection and occasional giving into a consistent, impactful partnership.

Why It Matters

All money raised through The 1615 Club directly supports the maintenance and growth of our fantastic co-curricular offering at Wilson's.

Generations of alumni have enjoyed CCF, Chess, Drama, Football, Rugby, Music, Badminton, Debating, Table Tennis, Duke of Edinburgh, school trips, and much more at Mollison Drive.

Members of The 1615 Club are directly supporting the opportunities they themselves enjoyed during their school careers.

They are also ensuring all current students – regardless of their family’s own financial situation – are still able to access all co-curricular opportunities at Wilson’s completely free of charge.

Membership

Membership of The 1615 Club is secured through a recurring donation of £16.15 or more per calendar month through our new, streamlined two‑click JustGiving portal.

Benefits

All members of The 1615 Club will receive:

  • Invitations to three networking events each year, held in the City, providing the opportunity to reconnect with Old Wilsonians and build professional relationships within a trusted peer group.
  • A special invitation (with a guest) to an annual Supporters' Reception, held on or around the school's birthday - 29 September - celebrating the school’s founding at Mollison Drive.
  • Regular updates from the school, including key news and development progress.

1615 events offer the opportunity to reconnect with fellow Old Wilsonians, network with attendees in a similar field, and stay closely connected with the school, hearing of its upcoming plans and recent progress.
